Beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath lakeside house

A family home built in 1992 on Lake Marion, located just outside of Santee, SC. The property is just under an acre. The home has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. With a living room, dining room, den, game room (with a pool table), office/study, fully equipped kitchen, 2 patios and a porch, there is plenty of room for the family. The accommodations will sleep up to 10 people. The setting is child-friendly. One room has a bunk bed with a trundle. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. Soak in the tub with a lake view or step into a "heavenly" shower. The third room is comfortable with a queen-sized bed.

The eat-in kitchen is sometimes the "hub" of the house. With a table for 6 and an island with 2 chairs, gather in the kitchen for a meal or snacking. The kitchen is equipped with a 6 burner gas stove, 2 ovens, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge with French doors and a pull-out freezer drawer. A drink station with a Keurig for coffee drinkers will get your day started. In the evening, put on a kettle for tea. The kitchen is not the only place for cooking. The patio located outside of the dining room has a grill that loves to "burn".

Enjoy a beautiful view of the lake from the back patio. Or lay in the king sized bed of the primary bedroom and watch the sunrise over the lake. Maybe enjoy the sunrise with the rest of the family on the screened-in patio. Grab a book and sweet tea. Read a cozy mystery on the front porch while resting in a rocking chair. A peaceful setting to unwind and de-stress.

Want to have a bit of fun? Set up the croquet set and challenge your friends. Or how about a round or two of corn hole. The backyard setting is almost like a park! There is a private dock where you can relax with friends and family, or throw a line in the water to see if the bass are biting. In the evening, set up the pool table and see who has the best shot.

Santee is located about an hour East of Historic Charleston. If you would like to take a day-trip, it is an easy ride. There are many attractions in Charleston. Take a walk on The Battery, visit the Market Place, take a carriage ride or be adventurous and take a "ghost" tour. There are many restaurants and shops where you can spend the day. Explore the aquarium or venture to the Angel Oak Tree on Johns Island.

The state capital, Columbia is about an hour West of Santee. Need an activity for the children? Visit Riverbanks Zoo. Visit The Vista, an area downtown with many shops and dining facilities. Looking for history, visit the Robert Mills House and Gardens or Mann-Simons Site. Are you a fan of the Gamecocks? The University of South Carolina is located in the downtown area. Put on your jersey and catch a game.

This was a family home filled with love and blessings, where our family enjoyed hosting many gatherings. Whether we were putting on a fashion show, graduation celebration or a 4th of July cookout, we welcomed friends and the community with open arms. "Buzzing" around the BEA Hive was always fun. Now we have decided to open our home for new "friends" to gather around the "Hive" and create new experiences with their families.
