Samruam B Aurora Cabin

A destination providing experiences in Sallatunturi tourist center near the services and ski slopes. Accommodation hut, igloo-style barbecue hut and a separate sauna with wood-burning sauna stove. Possibility to charge an electric car (7 kW output) is included in the price.

Wood-built hut with partial glass roof (for watching northern lights), built in 2021. Ideal destination in winter time for observing the northern lights and the night sky from indoor. In summer time, the hut is lighted by summer night sun. The glass roof is heated, so it stays clear despite the changing weather. There are no curtains on the glass roof, so there is as bright as outside (midnight sun during summer).

The hut has double bed (160 cm) under a glass roof, sofa bed (140 cm), bio ethanol fireplace, kitchen and washroom/WC. The kitchen has air-fryer, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There is no dish drying closet in the hut. The digital music player works with a mobile phone's Bluetooth connection, Netflix and Prime Video available with the codes of the owner. Wifi internet access. There are toys for children.

Separate sauna and living area. The living area has a separate oven, 2 hotplates, drying cabinet, as well as fireplace which uses bioethanol as a fuel. There is no water supply in the sauna building. Water for the sauna must be carried from the accommodation hut.

Igloo-style barbecue hut with bright, transparent walls. The walls are dimmed on the neighbor's side. The barbecue house has an outdoor kitchen and electric lighting.

Each building has powder fire extinguisher and a fire blanket.

This object uses 100% renewable electricity. This destination can be reached easily from the South Finland with a car-carrier train. The car-carrier trains stop at Kemijärvi, from which is 75 km drive distance to the Sallatunturi tourist center.

Foods can be ordered from the K-market Puolukka online grocery store, and those can be delivered directly to the cabin. Swimming beach at lake Keselmäjärvi 1.1 km, 3 min by car, 6 min by bike.

About 50 m from the cottage is a hut café.

Final cleaning and bed linen are included in the prices. Bed linen for the double bed is delivered pre-made.
