65 km north-east of Kuopio, L.Syvärijärvi 300 m, public swimming shore 1.2 km, no boat included. Splendid isolated chalet right in the heart of Tahkovuori ski centre.

Tahkonbalju main chalet (170 m²) was built in 2005 and the sauna section (85 m²) in 2008. Downstairs: living room/kitchen, 2 bedrooms 2 beds in each (double beds with mattress overlay), washroom, WC, sauna (electric stove). Upstairs: 3 single bedrooms, alcove 2 beds, hall 2 beds, WC. Steep spiral staircase to upstairs. Two separate bedrooms 2 beds in each; these bedrooms are located in a separate part of the chalet, with access via the porch. Air source heat pump.

Separate sauna section with room with fireplace (gas fire), washroom (4 showers) and large sauna (electric stove). Outside the sauna section is a large hot tub which is included in the rent. There is a porch round the entire chalet and all the separate buildings are under the same roof. In the front of the villa there is also a glass pavilion with infrared heating. Please note that it is forbidden to stay/walk on the lid of the outdoor hot tub. If the cover breaks during the reservation, the customer will be charged afterwards min. 500 euros.
