90 km north-west of Helsinki, Salkolanjärvi 300 m (length of 5 km, width 800 m), shallow, hard sand bottom, the village's common shared beach, no jetty, to the beach 800 m by car, rowboat shared with another rental cottage. Access to the lake Salkolanjärvi requires crossing some roads.

Water in the tap contains iron, which might cause some smell into water. Owner brings drinking water.
