20 km northwest of Kajaani, lake Oulujärvi 30 m (length 70 km, width 20 km), shallow water (for a long way), sandy bottom, pier, rowing boat. There's a slight slope on the way to the waterfront. The customer's own boat landing possible, public boat launching place 3.5 km away.

Carport. You can charge an electric car from the 5-pin power plug (10kW) by agreeing an additional fee in advance with the owner.

Pets allowed at extra fee, which is charged per pet (max 2 pets). Dog cage in the yard. Nice cottage by a big lake. The beach is shallow and ideal for children. In winter, ice snowmobile trail and cross country ski trail, 400 m. A peaceful location, surrounded by moor. A lot of good walking/ running trails in the area.

Possibility to rent from the owner Suomi 520 L boat and an outboard motor Honda 5 hp.

Rent should be negotiated with the owner. Please bring your own life jackets. Fresh fish available daily from the nearby marina (about 3 km).

The owner lives about 90 m away and uses the lakeside sauna himself also (the lakeside sauna is about 30 m from the cottage). Washing machine available in the owner's warehouse.

Akkovaara's popular nature / hiking trails are a short drive away. The nearest starting point is about 5 km away.

The route has an observation tower, which opens up to landscape of Lake Oulujärvi. There are good marked signs and campfire places on the route. There are several nature trails. In addition, there are information boards telling the history of the area.
