Welcome to this private 2-bedroom apartment on the second floor of a two-story home in a convenient location. There is a separate small office room next to the rear bedroom — great work from home spot. There is a direct bus to New York City two blocks away. ALDI supermarket is only a few blocks away. Laundromat within waking distance. You can park for free in the driveway (limit of one car). No parties, events, or smoking of any kind -- this is strictly enforced.

Self check-in and check-out are available. We have a lockbox with keys at the entry door to the building. We will send you the code to the lock box on the day of your arrival.

The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with us. We will not be available to support you during check-in if you arrive very late at night (after 11:00 pm). You can do a self-service check in after 11 pm, but if any issues arise we will not be able to respond or give any refunds.

Please also note that this apartment is located in an older house. Some recent guests have arrived with higher expectations than what we can provide given the age of the house and layout of the apartment. The apartment looks like the photos in the listing and we keep it clean. It is a basic space with basic amenities. If you are looking for a functional and competitively priced place close to New York City and Newark Airport EWR, this would be a good space for you. If you are looking for a modern and luxury stay, this is probably not the place for you.

We also just want to make clear that you are renting an apartment and not a hotel room. There are many differences between apartments and hotels, and some newer guests on this platform may not realize it. Hotels are large and often have many rooms, and the ability to change your room should issues arise. Hotels also have staff 24/7 that can help you with every issue or questions that you may have. On the other hand, we are a small operation and manage our listings to the best of our ability. We try hard to create a good experience for guests. We are including this disclaimer here because we have recently seen a rise in guests that seem to view our listings as very similar to a hotel, but in reality it is quite different. Thank you in advance for understanding this.

Note: If you pay us directly with a credit or debit card, we will ask you to send a photo of the front and back of the card, and we will ask you to sign a credit card authorization form. The name on the reservation must match the name on the credit card and the name on the ID.
