- A sandy oceanfront BEACH along the Ocean's edge (Key's style with hard packed sand and no waves) Beach is filled with abundant plant and marine life and provides easy access to great kayaking and snorkeling.

- 400 ft JETTY for easy fishing or lobstering - Sunsets and Sunrises. The Jetty is actually State Park Land; access is limited to Kawama Yacht Club only. This was a helicopter landing pad during WWII. Now it's a lovely place to congregate and watch the sunset, meditate or some early morning Yoga.

- The swimmable salt water lagoon has a sandy beach at one end, two floating docks in the middle, is 30ft deep and has Tarpon and other reef fish perfect for snorkeling. You can also kayak and paddle board in the lagoon.

We provide one basic starter supply of shampoo, conditioner, soap, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one garbage bag and one roll of paper towels. WE ONLY PROVIDE ONE for your convenience. Please bring your basic personal supplies as well as cleaning supplies. This is a rented townhouse, not a motel.

Suggested items that you should bring to make your stay more comfortable:

laundry detergent if you plan on using the washer and dryer, salt, pepper, spices, k-cups coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, garbage bags, cleaning supplies, coffee, suntan lotion and bug spray.

Please follow all house rules posted as well as on the refrigerator. Please respect my home and leave it in the condition that you found it.

Other Things to Note:

DEEP WATER MARINA: I do not have a slip. An on-site harbormaster will assist you with your boating and slip rentals and I can provide the contact info for you. The Marina accommodates all types of boats from jet skiis to yachts. Boats require $300,000 Liability Insurance in the name of the person on the contract for the rental. And if there is room in boat storage for your trailer or boat, you can use it....otherwise you need to find parking off property. This usually is not an issue, but you are aware if it becomes one. Summer is high season for boat usage. It's first come, first serve on trailer/boat parking. I suggest trying Pilot House Marina as another option, or Pennekamp State Park or the Caribbean Club.

Boat rentals and deep sea fishing charters are close by. For the diving enthusiast, the waters of our oceanfront property have world renown diving spots just offshore. Rodriguez Key, with its famous sand bar is only 3 minutes away and visible from our marina. The only living Coral Reef in the United States are 15 minutes away and easy excess to the best fishing anywhere.

Sleeping Arrangements:

1. The kids room has a bunk bed with a queen bed and twin on top and a twin Captain's bed with a twin pullout underneath. No adults on the top bunk bed please! They aren't designed for adults and don't provide the comfort that adults require.

Two convertable chairs provided in downstairs living area that convert to twins. Please pull out the support legs on both ends when using.

Upstairs Living: You can kick back on our comfy leather sofa in front of our new 65’’ flat screen HDTV with cable. Open the two slider to enjoy the ocean breeze and view and terrace. You will relax in our new tiled walk-in shower each stocked with bath towels and sleep luxuriously in our new king-size bed with fluffy linens in the master bedroom with 55” flat screen TV with all necessary sheets and extra pillows. Master with ensuite, Full bath in hall way and Kids room with a bunk bed with full bed and twin top. Captains bed has two twins. Please no adults on the bunk bed……they are not made to withstand the weight nor the comfort that a adult requires.

Spiral staircase leads to the second level. Please take note with those with disabilities or small children.

Downstairs living:

Two slider glass doors open up to downstairs fully furnished terrace equipped wit table that seats 6 and a BBQ grill. Also has a 55” flat screen HDTV with stocked DVR Movie Library, Two Twin converter chairs in living space, and a newly added Kitchenette for easy dining out on the terrace.

Third Bedroom with King Size Bed and TV. And a third full bathroom with two doors, one to the third bedroom and one to the living space. Kitchenette with sink and refrigerator in the living space. Enjoy the convenience of our full-size washer & dryer in the garage, along with two kayaks. The downstairs living space is accessible by ONE STEP from the outside.

Kitchen:

Fully furnished with all the comforts of home. Stainless steel appliances, cookware, small appliances, Kcup coffee maker, blender, microwave. Plenty of dishes, glasses & utensils! You will usually find some teas, spices, canned goods in the cabinets and condiments in the refrigerator - use what you like, replace what you can and leave what you don't use.

Please note, The description and photos are accurate! This is a VERY clean and comfy home as you can tell from my past guest ratings. I want you to find the best fit for your vacation needs and do not want you to be disappointed. This is your vacation home away from home. It may have a light out (things happen but I provide many bulbs in the closet) or there might be a dirty filter in the AC (I may have forgot to change it last month)……things happen, but I'm here to fix it if needed. If you're here to enjoy the Florida Keys, this is perfect for you.…….relax, and enjoy.

Just don't expect a white sandy beach with waves in the Keys.....go to the inland if you want the beach, stay in the Keys if you want to be ON the water as we say here in the Keys. The best snorkeling, fishing, diving in the world! Or go to a hotel or park where they ship in sand. We do have ocean access with a sandy area that steps down into the ocean. The water in the Keys is shallow and only sea grass and sand until you get out to the reef. Plenty of marine life. The area is wonderful to kayak or paddle board through the mangroves. Founders Park, Harry Harris Park or Pennekamp State Park are the closest parks. Please do your research.
