This modern rustic cabin is a very open concept with a large room that includes plenty of comfortable seating on a large comfortable couch, loveseat, and swivel chair.

A 50” Roku TV with a small antenna to receive local channels is available for your viewing pleasure and a beautiful electric fireplace to relax you with its enticing flames.

There is a fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs, just bring your own food and condiments.

There is a breakfast nook in the corner of this large room with seating for 6. In the back is the cabin is a bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and a small Roku TV.

There is a washing machine and dryer available for your use in the utility room.

In the main large room is pull down stairs to take you to the sleeping loft that has two comfortable beds, a full size mattress and twin mattress. If needed, 2 rollaway beds or 16.5” air mattresses can be provided to be put in the main living space.

Guest access

You are within walking distance to the beach. It is a 5 minute or less walk straight into the water or the Sam-O-Set Sandy beach. There is a cute playground and pavilion across from the beach. You can also take a quick minute or two drive and park at Sam-O-Set Park if you don’t want to walk.

You are less than 4 miles either direction to North or South Higgins State Park entrance.

There is a large boat and watercraft boat launch at West Higgins Lake Boat Launch about a 5 minute drive away. There is a small craft launch just down the street just past Sam-O-Set Park. We have a 3 person inflatable kayak for use upon request. (2 adults and a child).

There is parking in front of the cabin for your trailer, boat or other water toys and parking in the driveway for cars.

There are several seasonal restaurants in the area. Grocery stores are about 20 minutes away on the other side of Higgins Lake or Houghton Lake. There are party stores and convenience stores nearby. In Roscommon, on the other side of the lake, about 20-25 minutes away, are many local restaurants and shops.

There is a rental agreement you must sign and return before completing your booking.
