Tree Fort Cottage is a charming custom timber frame home nestled directly on the shores of Lake Michigan near Cross Village. Just a scenic 20-minute drive north from Harbor Springs through the Tunnel of Trees, this cozy retreat is ideal for a private couple's getaway.

Multiple decking levels and a path lead to the pristine sand beach on the blue-green waters of Lake Michigan. Inside the cottage are a beautifully appointed kitchen and living areas and custom wood elements that exude warmth and charm.

Accommodation includes a main bedroom with a queen bed, and two separate sleeping berths ideal for relaxation or quiet reading. With plenty of windows inviting Lake Michigan breezes and the sounds of nature, Tree Fort provides an ideal getaway for couples or a small family of four.

While the home doesn't have air conditioning, ceiling fans ensure a comfortable ambiance, and additional standard fans are provided upon request. While there is Wi-Fi for your convenience, there is no TV.

Outside, a spacious upper deck has a private outdoor shower, gas grill, and comfortable seating for outdoor dining on warm summer evenings. A lower deck offers a serene spot for soaking in breathtaking sunset views or simply unwinding amidst the tranquility of Up North living.

Please note that stairs are required to access all living areas, decks, and the lake. Water shoes are recommended for your comfort and safety.
