Experience the charm of Beach Retreat, a historic beach cottage close to Harbor Springs. The cottage is located in Forest Beach, a private association of summer lakefront cottages with stunning views of Little Traverse Bay, Petoskey, and Bay Harbor.

Enjoy the large sandy beach, perfect for launching your kayak or paddleboard, and gathering around the beach firepit for s'mores. Zero gravity chairs are provided for ultimate relaxation. Just steps from the lakeside covered porch, you'll find a private deck with chairs and cocktail tables, ideal for sunset cocktails. Due to the ever-changing shoreline, water shoes are recommended for swimming as the lake can be rocky.

The cozy living room features a wood-burning beach stone fireplace, perfect for curling up with a good book on cool days. With ample seating for family and friends, gather around the fireplace, watch the Smart TV, or enjoy the views through the large picture window. Adjacent to the living room is a den area, ideal for remote work or streaming movies with strong Wi-Fi.

The full kitchen, equipped with modern appliances and stocked for all your cooking and baking needs, connects to a dining room that seats six, featuring an antique cottage table and chairs.

The main floor includes a queen bedroom and a full bath.

Upstairs, a bedroom overlooking the lake offers a queen and twin bed, connected by a Jack-and-Jill three-quarter bathroom to another bedroom with two twin beds. The third bedroom upstairs has a double bed, with a half bath connecting the twin and double bedrooms. Almost all rooms have windows with views or partial views of the water, letting you fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the lake.

For your convenience, a washer and dryer are available in the detached garage (note: the garage is not available for parking or vehicles).
