Lahdenpoukama

35 km north of Lahti, the Lahdenpoukama cabin is located on the shore of the clear and clean Ruotsalainen lake (30 m). The beach is hard and steadily deepening. Residents have two kayaks on the beach, one single and the other two-seater. Two new SUP boards and a rowing boat. The large, long platform makes it easier to use these hobby tools. In the clear water lake there is something to wonder about even for a snorkeler.

Lahdenpoukama is a cozy, clean and well-equipped log cabin (built 1996) with three bedrooms, a spacious living room and a kitchen. The kitchen has a dining table for eight, also with a view of the lake.

The cottage's three bedrooms comfortably offer your own peace for rest or work. One bedroom has a large double bed, the second has a 120 cm bed and the third has an 80 cm bed. In addition, two thick spare mattresses. In bathroom there is a shower, toilet, mirror cabinet and sink. The cottage has an air source heat pump. There isn't any sauna in the cottage, but there is a lakeside tent sauna available.

On the cottage's covered terrace, you can enjoy the lake view. An atmospheric barbecue hut allows you to cook outside in the summer protected from the weather, and the new Saunacube tent sauna, which gives good steam, is right next to the beach. After the sauna and swimming, you can cool off at home, fry sausages or grill fish and enjoy sauna drinks. Pretty nice! In addition to the barbecue house, a portable charcoal grill is available.

The property is intended for a peaceful holiday, e.g. for families, and is not rented to groups under 25 years of age or e.g. stag or hen parties. The Vääksy canal, the Kalkkisten center with its wineries and the unique Pulkkilanharju's nature trails are examples of destinations in the area that are worth visiting especially in summer!

You can also arrive at the cottage by motorboat from Päijänne or Vesijärvi via canals, and Heinola can also be reached by water.

The neighbor's beach sauna is located right on the border of the plot.
