There is a boat taxi operating in Padasjoki, where you can rent shuttle service to the national park. There are numbers of free time activities in Padasjoki area including boating, fishing, canoeing, disc golf and tennis. In winter, you can use a swimming hall and a wide ski trail network.

A track and an excursion skating rink pass in front of the property in winter. It's less than an hour's drive away for a Himos.
