Welcome to Haus Zugspitze, your mountain escape just steps from downtown Helen. Nestled on a wooded hillside only 0.3 miles (a 2-minute walk) from the Bavarian-inspired village, this charming three-level cabin offers comfort, style, and convenience for families and small groups.

Haus Zugspitz is located right next to our other property, Haus Magdeburg, and shares a driveway with it. If you would like to rent out both cabins, search for our listing Summit Ber Weg and reserve the entire mountain top!

We are IN the woods. We have a walking path at the corner of the driveway and we have neighbors that will call if BEAR TRASH happens (All Trash needs to be fully bagged and CLOSED in Bear cans provided)

ALSO important- leaving windows cracked and/or food inside will be attractive to our wildlife to try and access.

Please read the House Rules We have a municipal agreement that needs to be signed before arrival to unlock the doors

The road leading up to the cabins is a private drive and has a steeper incline in the 1/8th mile.

This cabin is tucked away in the woods, which means you’ll be surrounded by nature—and all that comes with it. Bears are known to pass through the area, and you may see spiders or other insects during your stay. While we do our best to keep the cabin treated and tidy, it’s part of the natural setting, so occasional encounters with wildlife or bugs are possible.
